Your Breathing Space has been a savior for my mental wellbeing. Such a friendly atmosphere, everyone gets on so well together, and newcomers are always made to feel very welcome. The minute you walk in the door you just feel so good. It’s calm and peaceful, and the scent of the oils is so relaxing. Classes are easy to follow, and there are alternatives if you don’t think you are up to doing certain poses. I joined Your Breathing Space in June 2019.   Initially, I was mainly interested in the meditation and restorative meditation sessions.   I had been through some emotional trauma the year before joining and I was recommended to “quiet my racing mind.”     Once I started the meditation sessions my emotions eventually started to unlock, and the flood gates opened at various sessions.  Francine and the other girls were so kind and understanding.  Francine even took it on board to help me to use the emotional tools which were offered to me to start my new journey.

I gradually started to do other classes, such as yoga, and stretch.   Not only was my mind crying out for attention but also my body.  I have found the classes to be so beneficial because of the kind understanding and support of Francine and everyone else there.     

 It is now May 2021, and my mind is so much quieter (most of the time) and my body is becoming more flexible with all the different exercises and the joy of just being alive.      

 Francine is such a caring teacher and takes the time to explain the steps, especially to me at times, as I sometimes get overwhelmed and confused with what I should be doing.   

 I really look forward to my different classes each week and have just started Pilates in the last month or so.   My body is becoming stronger just in those two months and my Core Muscle now knows what it is, albeit not very well at present.    We just must keep working with our body and mind to make them healthy and happy.    By going to Your Breathing Space, 4 sessions a week, I am well on the way to doing this.

 Over the years I have experimented with several relaxation techniques as part of a holistic approach to improving my health. Transcendental Meditation, Restorative Yoga and Meditation CDs are but three of them. Recently, I joined a 4 session beginners' class for Qi Gong taught by Francine. Initially, I found it a little daunting trying to remember all the exercises and how to do them correctly, but Francine broke them up into 6 exercises per week for 3 weeks and then a final session to integrate them. She also provided the class with a USB each, showing her doing the exercises. There are also YouTube clips available on these exercises. I love Qi Gong and practice it every morning (takes about 20 minutes). The exercises involved cover both my mental and physical wellbeing and complement the Restorative Yoga class I attend once a week. - CM1(Oxenford) April 2021

I started coming to Francine in November 2020 when she moved her studio to the Porto Bellago building in Emerald Lakes.  I spoke with Francine asking for her assistance in which classes she thought would be best for me.  Due to health issues, I am not able to do normal activities so we discussed the various classes she offers and together we decided what would be best for me. She was amazing!  And since then, it has been such a joy to attend her classes - she is a very caring and beautiful lady.  The studio has such a warm and inviting feel about it. I look forward to attending my classes every week.
