Payment & cancellation policy
We understand that life happens and in the event that you need to cancel a class, private session, workshop/retreat or massage/facial appointment we have put the following policies into effect:
YBS does not offer refunds on services or classes for change on mind, or any other reason. All purchases and payments are final. However, a gift voucher for the corresponding amount may be provided in certain circumstances.
Payment for classes/sessions must be made upon booking - no exceptions. Most of our sessions are small and capped at a certain number, therefore your spot is only secured once payment is made. To book into a class/session you can pay through ‘Square’, pay via electronic transfer or credit card/PayPal at the time of booking.
Covid Policy
As we continue to navigate the everchanging waters of COVID-19 we continue to amend our studio policies and guidelines as we adhere to government advice and directives.
We ask that if you are feeling at all unwell, that you do not attend classes at the studio until you are feeling better. And that you contact the studio informing management of your situation.
If management is unable to deliver classes for a period of time, due to COVID restrictions then memberships will be paused for that time and online classes will be available.
We ask that you use the hand sanitizer provided when entering and leaving the studio. Mats are available for use, but it is preferable that you bring your own, along with your towel and water.
If you are feeling unwell, even if it is not COVID related, we ask that you respect your fellow students and do not attend the studio until you are well.
Retreats & W'shops
Retreats and workshops are planned with a specific number of attendees and are capped at those numbers; therefore, your place is not secure until payment is made. If you cancel less than a week before the event and we are able to fill your spot, you will receive a credit for the full amount to be used at a future retreat/event, equal to that amount. If we are unable to fill your spot, payment will be forfeited
Please note that fees are not transferable to other services or classes.
If you are a ‘no show’, or cancel 24hours before the event, all monies paid will be forfeited.
Refunds are only given if the retreat/workshop is cancelled by YBS
Management may, in all situations, exercise discretion if the student can demonstrate that extenuating or significant personal circumstances led to their withdrawal. In these instances the student may be offered a full refund.
CLASSES
For a class to go ahead there must be a minimum of 2 students. If management is aware that the numbers for the class will not be reached prior to the commencement of the class, anyone who may have been attending will be notified of the cancellation and rescheduled to another session. If the attendees have paid in advance of the class, then that payment will be credited to the next class attended.
In all situations, the teacher may exercise their discretion to offer a modified session.
Please ensure that you arrive at the studio several minutes before the commencement of class as the studio doors will be locked to ensure the safety of all. If you know you are going to be a couple of minutes late then text 0414 553364 prior to this and we will try and accommodate you. If the doors are locked and class has commenced you will not be given access to the studio and may need to reschedule for another class. Payment made for the class will be forfeited
Introductory Offer
This is a one-time only purchase, available to newcomers. The Introductory Offer applies to all standard classes on the current timetable. Your classes must be booked before you attend the studio. The pass expires 14 days after the date of the first attendance.
Please note, there are no extensions once the expiry date has passed.
Memberships
NO LOCK-IN CONTRACTS – MEMBERS WILL BE AUTOMATICALLY INVOICED WEEKLY AND MAY OPT OUT AT ANY TIME WITH ONE WEEK’S NOTICE.
Members have access to unlimited weekly classes, excluding workshops, retreats, specialty classes, Dharma talking Circle and Qi Gong.
Storage of yoga mats/equipment at the studio is also available should you require.
pausing memberships
Memberships that have access to UNLIMITED classes will not be paused unless the attendee is away for an extended period of time, (2 weeks or more) and forward notice must be given in writing (email or text) at least 1 week prior to requested leave. Members can make up additional classes prior to being away or on return to the studio.
If the studio is closed for 4 or more days of our weekly timetable all memberships during this period will b paused.
5 PASS, 10 PASS OR MONTHLY UNLIMITED
Passes are available for weekly regular classes, excluding workshops, retreats, specialty classes, qi gong, discussion groups. Payment must be made up front, and will expire 3 or 6 months from the date of purchase.
Unused classes are NOT transferable to other services, retreats or specialty classes.
5 Pass - $90 (expiry 3 months) ***
10 Pass - $170 (expiry 6 months) ***
***Please note; if you are booked into a class using your class pass and cancel 2 hours prior to the class, or are a ‘no show’, that class will be deducted from your pass
Private Training &
massage/Beauty sessions
A late fee of $20 will be charged if you cancel a private session with less than 12hours notice, or are a 'no show'. If you are late for a private session it will end at the original time. If you are more than 15 minutes late for a session it is at the discretion of the facilitator or therapist as to whether to hold an abbreviated session or not.
Gift cards are not refundable and non-returnable. If purchased for a specific pass, they cannot be used as cash. All vouchers will have an expiry date and must be adhered to.
