I was chatting with a friend recently and he was complaining about how hard it is to stick to regular exercise. Life seems to get in the way and even though we feel so good after a workout, whether it’s a gym session, a run, a yoga or Pilates class, it can often be hard to maintain any consistency. Why is that?

The Shifting Ground

It is times when the ground beneath us is constantly shifting that we see the rawness of humanity, the authenticity of us all. That may be a strength of character or it may be something very different. The mask through which we view the world can begin to slip and what remains underneath is our true self or, our lower self.
